Unlike corporate Estate Agents we do not receive a referral fee for recommending a local solicitor but are just pleased to put buyers and sellers in touch with reputable local legal firms who will always be on the doorstep for people to meet to discuss any issues that may arise with a sale or purchase of a property.
To help our clients who are looking to buy or sell a property we have agreed a local fee scale and standard disbursements that any of the local solicitors will charge so you know exactly where you stand with what your conveyancing and moving costs will be.

The fees charged by the participating legal practices are as follows although these might change from time to time.
Fees Scales for Sale or Purchase using Panel Solicitors:
- Up to £100,000 - £370 + vat
- £100,001 to £200,000 - £420 + vat
- £200,001 to £300,000 – £445 + vat
- £300,001 to £400,000 - £475 + vat
- Over £400,000 - £515 + vat allay
Stamp Duty:
- Up to £125,000 – No Stamp Duty
- £125,001 to £250,000 – 1%
- £250,001 to £500,000 – 3%
- £500,000 to £1,000,000 – 4%
- £1,000,001 to £2,000,000 – 5%
- Over £2,000,000 – 7% or 15% in some cases
