The Final Eric Gibson and Motor Neurone Disease Charity Golf Day at Beeston Fields Golf Club – 27th June 2018
Towards the end of June, Robert Ellis will be supporting and helping to organise the final golf day to remember our friend and work colleague, Eric Gibson, who in 2011 passed away from Motor Neurone Disease and to raise funds for the local branch of MNDA.
This will be the 8th year we have held the golf day at Beeston Fields where Eric was a member and past captain. We will be having over 100 golfers playing on the day – many from the property and mortgage lending industry and people who knew Eric from BFGC. The format for the day will be a shotgun start at 1 pm and the golf will be followed by a meal and charity auction.
Our target this year is to raise £15,000 which will take our overall fundraising to £100,000 raised from our 8 golf days.
Eric’s wife Evelyn will be attending the day and two of Eric’s sons, Leith and Michael, will be playing in the family team, attending the dinner and presenting prizes to the winning team. The meal and prize giving will be followed by a charity auction.
If you would like to support the day, please click here to visit our ‘Virgin Money Giving Page’ which is very much part of our fundraising activities.
Many thanks to all the people who play such an important part in having made our previous golf days such a success which will hopefully be repeated again this year – our fingers and everything else are crossed for good weather on the day!
