We are seeking a young professional to move into a recently developed 2 bed flat in Brixton. It will be available from 1 December 2019.
The current tenant Alex, who moved in about c.18 months ago, is in his mid-twenties and works in the property industry and is sporty; enjoys running, the gym, football and golf. When not in the office or on the golf course he`s usually out socialising with friends.
The split-level flat is a 10 minute walk from Brixton station, or a short bus ride down Brixton Hill, for the Victoria line that gets you quickly into central London.
There are plenty of good pubs, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The White Horse pub is a great local and Pizza Brixton is a personal favourite. Brockwell park and Herne Hill are also a short walk away, there is a great food market at the latter on a Sunday. Similarly it is easy to get to Clapham by walking the other way. There is a Sainsbury`s Local at the end of the road and a big store 5 minutes walk away.
The room itself is at the rear of the house, it is very quiet and there is ample wardrobe space with built in draws for storage. The large window means that there is lots of light and there is a kingsize bed with two bedside tables and a very large mirror for the image conscious. There is also room to store things under the bed.
The flat as a whole is spacious and was fully refurbished in 2014 so everything is good condition. We installed a new kitchen and bathroom then. The open plan living room and kitchen is on the upper floor of the flat and where we spend time chilling. There are shutters for privacy and it is very cosy in the winter months. The bathroom is on the same floor as the room advertised and has storage space as well as a rain shower and bath.
£850 pcm, excluding bills which are typically around £100ish a month.
Deposit would be a month`s rent and there are no agency fees.
