LONG EATON CARNIVAL
It had been a long wait for the Long Eaton Carnival to return, instead of it being held in June, it took place in September this year, but what a fantastic day it was. Many people came to watch on what was a glorious sunny day. Local businesses and sports clubs attended the carnival making it one of the biggest we had seen for a while. The theme was Public Services and this year the Long Eaton branch decided to decorate their float with rainbows to reflect the support logo in saying ‘Thank You’ to the NHS throughout the pandemic. Staff dressed up as different public service people from bin men to paramedics. To top the day off we also came first in the adult float category.🏆
