Conveniently situated to the west side of Nottingham, Wollaton is an established, sought-after family area generally considered to be one of the premier residential locations in Nottingham.
Falling within the boundaries of Nottingham City Council, Wollaton is home to Wollaton Hall along with its deer park and gardens. Built in the 1580s this Elizabethan manor house (which featured in the earlier “Batman” films) now incorporates a natural history museum and industrial museum and lends itself perfectly to a great family day out.
Wollaton and its suburbs are in close proximity of Nottingham’s main ring road in turn providing direct access to the main A52 to both junction 25 of the M1 motorway and Derby. The M1 in turn, provides a short commute to Leicester, Loughborough and Mansfield.

Wollaton offers a great range of award-winning restaurants, cafes and bars with a good selection of traditional pubs and a thriving local independent shopping area.
For those looking for a bite to eat, why not try “Mr Man’s” Restaurant next to the entrance to Wollaton Hall and Park, offering a wide range of Chinese and Asian cuisine. “The Wheelhouse” on Russell Drive is again in walking distance of the park and is a great place for family dining. Families are also welcome at “Miller & Carter”, another great quality gastro pub within easy reach. Other options are “The Wollaton” on Lambourne Drive, offering casual dining throughout the day and the “Admiral Rodney” is a great local pub in the heart of the community with friendly service and honest pricing. Wollaton’s main shopping area is on Bramcote Lane, best known for its selection of high-quality independent stores along with more well-known names like “Sainsbury’s”, “The Co-op” and “Birds the Bakers” along with a “Marks & Spencer” food outlet within the service station on Wollaton Vale.
